A group of involved parents are working to sustain the quality of learning for children in Wynndel by joining with an award-winning independent program that focuses on the needs and interests of children and parents. Wondertree was born in Wynndel in 1982 (When Ilana Cameron left Kindergarten) and yet grew up in Vancouver as an innovative and four times national award winning program. Currently hundreds of children are thriving in this child-centered program that incorporates the latest progressive education methodology. We hope you will read our literature, talk with other parents and join us in our effort to transform education in Wynndel so that nurturing our children is at the heart of our community. *Currently, we are not accepting new learners for this learning year. Darcy Kaltio, who has been working at the Vancouver Wondertree since 2005, was hired as the Learning Consultant for Wynndel Wondertree School. Darcy carried the program for its first year and has decided to move back to Vancouver. We are currently interviewing teachers who are interested in working in this unique learning environment.
