Wondertree Programs WiserOnes: 10-13 year olds WonderOnes: 6-9 year olds WeeOnes: Kindergarten Blended: 8-13 year olds Open Programs: 6-12 year olds WiserOnes About our 10-13 year olds group: Children aged 10-13 come together for an inspiring journey that takes place both together and independently; learning about physics, math, science, astronomy and so much more, in ways that suit their learning styles. Exciting projects are always in the works, such as building a catapult or making movies to designing a fashion show. The sky is the limit.  Experts in the field often join with us to mentor the learners as they navigate through their interests. We strive for a supportive, cooperative environment that nurtures a love of learning and of life. Expanding on the natural desire to connect with nature and each other, we learn spontaneously through direct experience, highlighted by conversations with mentors. There is a focus on self-awareness, interpersonal communication and responsibility in community. Our days are full of the magic of discovery and learning. Click here for more information For more information contact Hebaaq Pascal: hebaaqpascal@wondertree.org Blended Program (Not currently running) Our Blended Program operates with a mentor-learner ratio of no greater than 1:12.  This program is open to all SelfDesign learners, homelearners,  and learners enrolled in other programs/schools.  Children in this program are between  8-14 years old.  The Blended Program is an opportunity for kids to come and participate in an environment that they have a hand in creating.  It is a great way to connect with other kids, mentors, and learning consultants.  There is a focus on communication skills, self-responsibility, project/time management, and engaging the passions of the individual child. Open Programs About our 6-12 year olds group: Our Open Programs are inspiring and innovative classes open to Wondertree Learners, SelfDesign learners and the home learning community at large. The classes are facilitated by mentors who are passionate about what they do and are excited to share their knowledge and enthusiasm. These classes offer children an opportunity to join with other Vancouver based children and participate in something they love.
